A hotel story that began in 1899.
Before the dawn of a new century, 1899 marked the beginning of hospitality at this address.
The hotel first opened in 1899 as Hotel Bragança de Coimbra, beside the former railway station in the city centre. More than a century later, 1899 Coimbra Hotel carries that story forward—rooted in the same place and reimagined for a new chapter.
